TurusenSaha Guesthouse offers the accommodation right in the city center of Oulu, it is situated in the famous island area of Pikisaari.
There is no exact English word to describe how TurusenSaha Guesthouse operates. In Southern Europe they have Hotel Garni, which is the house with a hotel-level accommodation service, and the owner's family lives in the same house. This describes the operations of TurusenSaha Guesthouse as well.
TurusenSaha Guesthouse has five cosy rooms for accommodation in the same house. All rooms are equipped for your comfort close to the hotel-level. In addition, we rent the Banquet Hall for conferences and events. The sauna suite can be rented for accommodation or for evening outings.
In the Main House (Pikisaarentie 10) there are five individual accommodation rooms. (Red, Green, Blue, Beige suite and sauna suite ), with own toilet/shower and the large shared outdoor terrace. The shared fully equipped kitchen is also available. Room prices from 95-140€/1-2 person/s per night.
Pets are welcome to sauna suita.
The breakfast service is available as well, with additional fee, each morning between 8:00 -10:00. (Price: 10€/person). Our breakfast is praised generously, by our customers.
The access to the rooms happens via code locks, and no keys are needed.
While our premises are located in the city center of Oulu, all services are nearby, only walking distance away from restaurants, markets etc. therefore we do not have an own restaurant. However, our guests will find plenty of facilities: a TV, free Wi-Fi and a hairdryer in the rooms, also iron and board, board games, rental bikes, etc are available, as well tourist brochures and maps. As Pikisaari area is surrounded by the sea and the Oulu river: the outdoor facilities are excellent.
Our prices are affordable due our service concept.
We are present to help you, although we do not have the reception. On the mornings you will meet us in the breakfast room, for any convenience (filling passenger cards, payments etc.). At the same time you can get to know the host and the history of Pikisaari. Please ask for advice and instructions by any need. The payments are made here on site, both paying methods (cash and card) are accepted.

As there are only five rooms, it is important that the customer is committed to the reservation made. The reservations can be canceled free of charge a 2 days before the booking date. The cancellations due to illness is often covered by the travel insurance of room booker.
Both of our accommodation houses are traditional Finnish houses. Main House has been built 2014 and the older Green House originally year 1924 (restored year 2008). These houses have stairs and sloping ceiling, therefore they are not well suited for disabled.
These historical houses in Pikisaari are definitely unique and worth visiting.
